The logo of XD Connects is designed based on the concept of connection. It is a type-based logo with a bold and recognizable characteristic that gives a strong statement feeling—making it claimable.

The logo has a predetermined bounding box. The bounding box is a free zone around the logo. This free zone is placed to protect the identity and integrity of the logo and should be respected in all situations. No other graphics or decals can be placed in this free zone. The bounding boxes are included in the logo set, and the height of the “X” determines its size.
Logo and colours
The logo’s primary colour is black, and the main colorway for the brand is black and white to portray a bold and modern look. The logo can be applied on the primary and secondary colours and also on photographs.

It is vital to maintain legibility and contrast when using the logo on colors. The logo can be applied in either black or white on Sweet lavender and Pine green. Only the white logo should be applied on a Deep sea blue background, and only the black logo should be applied on Cloudy grey, Misty white, and Sand white backgrounds. It is not allowed to use the black or the white logo in a manner that is not indicated.
Logo on photography
When placing the logo, the logo should always create a high contrast with the background. This means that the logo can’t be placed on photography that is too detailed or too busy. Backgrounds that consist of light or dark tones allow for high contrast. For example, the saturated colours of the landscape.
Avatar
The logo is reduced to ‘xd’ for the avatar of XD Connects. Reducing the logo for the avatar increases its readability when the size becomes relatively small.
Don'ts
It is not allowed to alter the logo in any way. Please do not rotate, skew, distort or separate the elements, apply effects or add extra typography to the logo. Never attempt to (re)create the logo yourself, change the font, or alter the size or proportions. Please don’t use any colors; the logo should always be black or white. And always make sure the contrast between background and logo is sufficient.
Brand name in written form
The wordmark is designed in lowercase letters to appear more human, approachable, and humble. Since XD Connects is a name, it is written in plain text in capitals ‘XD Connects’.
